Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services while in New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visit, you may be liable for the full costs of that treatment. The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand Citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs. Further information can be viewed on the ACC website at: >www.acc.co.nz
International students (including group students) must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while in New Zealand.
When a course is booked, it should be paid in full two weeks in advance to secure the booking. The cost of books and tapes are not included in the tuition fee (unless stated otherwise). Books and tape prices are listed on the invoice.
Where a student enrolled at a PTE on a course of study or training, that is less than three months’ duration, withdraws from such a course, the following minimum refund entitlement will apply:
The registration fee is non-refundable.
If the student has studied at this school to prepare for further education in New Zealand and has achieved the required entry level for the next institution before anticipated, the school is able to forward any prepaid fees that are not used to the next institute of learning. Administration costs would be deducted.
All monies received by the school for student fees and homestay accommodation are held in the students’ trust account with the Public Trust of New Zealand.
