All English Plus courses consist of the General English component being conducted on-site at the school for three hours each morning and the Plus component of the course being conducted off-site at the appropriate site of operation.

The prices quoted are for individual students.
Some courses need three or more students to enrol for the course to proceed.
The pre-entry requirement of English competency is written beside each activity.

English Plus 15 hours English in the morning  $290
Acting (pre-entry requirement – Intermediate level)
Learn from an experienced and qualified acting coach $75.00 per hour
Badmington (no pre-entry required)
This activity is offered to all our students and takes place on Sunday and Tuesday evenings, $3.00 charge per evening, is a great way to meet people from  other countries as well as New Zealanders.
Barista (pre-entry requirement – Intermediate level)
Learn from an experienced and qualified barista. The course consists of five hours at $85.00 per hour. (Assistance is given to the student to find employment on completion of this course, if the student has a working holiday visa)
English for older students
This course is designed to offer communicate English in the morning and activities with local residents or tour companies in the afternoon. Contact the school to find out more bopels@clear.net.nz
Golf
Learn from a qualified golf professional and enjoy the opportunity to play on a choice of the Bay of Plenty’s fine golf courses $75.00 per hour
Horse-riding (pre-entry requirement – elementary level)
Learn from a fully trained riding instructor the art of horse riding.  $75.00 per hour
Mothers and children programme
Mothers come and learn English with us while your young son and daughter attends a government approved primary or intermediate school. Contact bopels.clear.net.nz to find out more details
Surfing (pre-entry  requirement - Students must be competent swimmers)
Learn from one of our local experts  $75.00 per hour
Volleyball (no pre-entry required)
Free activity that is played in the summer season at Mount Maunganui Beach.
Volunteer (pre-entry requirement – Intermediate level)
Students are assisted to work in a voluntary capacity in some of the following industries:
Working in an old peoples’ home
Gardening for the aged
Working at a school
Working in your chosen industry.
