CAE stands for Cambridge Advanced English
It is recommended that students are at an upper-intermediate level in order to cope with the content of this course. students or can be taught on a one-to-one basis.
The course covers five papers
- The five skills – reading. writing, use of English, lstening and speaking
- Vocabulary relevant to CAE topics
- Discussions on relevant CAE topics
- Aspects of grammar needed for the CAE test
Practice is given on
- A range of CAE question types and tasks in the five skills
- A step-by-step approach to building necessary strategies and skills
- Achievable test type tasks will be completed first, leading to more challenging and authentic test types.
- A broad range of language students will face either at university or in the wider community
- Suitable materials selected to suit learners’ needs
- Test tips, relaxation techniques

- Regular practice tests on all five skills are provided
- These tests are used in class and for homework
