The Bay of Plenty English Language School began as Inlingua Tauranga, in 1997, established by two retired school teachers operating from a family home. The focus on a professional, relaxed, safe learning environment has remained to this day. In 2008 the school moved to its present location and changed its name to Bay of Plenty English Language School to reflect more of the local culture in which it operates. The school is owned by the Christian Education Trust and is registered with the New Zealand Qualification Authority to teach Intensive General English with Examination Preparation courses.
Bay of Plenty English Language School has always worked on developing relationships. The most important relationships are with our clients, the students and their parents and agents. Our goal is always to meet the learning needs of the each student and to make their learning experience both successful and pleasurable. Our next relationships are with our teachers and our host families. These people are vital to the success of our school and we have worked hard to find the most qualified and dedicated staff and committed host families. These two groups assist us in meeting our students’ individual needs and ensure that the stay with us is memorable and very worthwhile.
